Helfer gesucht für den Basler Cup 2020!

 

Liebe Eltern, Angehörige und Freunde des Schwimmsports

Mit Freude haben wir erfahren, dass wir unseren geliebten Heimwettkampf in diesem Jahr doch noch durchführen dürfen. 

Der Internationale Basler Cup findet neu vom 21. bis 23. August 2020 im Sportbad des Gartenbad St. Jakob statt.

Der Internationale Basler Cup gehört zu einem der ersten Wettkämpfe, welche in der Sommersaison 2020 nach dem Lockdown stattfinden wird. Wir erwarten eine grosse Teilnehmerzahl aus dem In- und Ausland.

Die Organisation stellt uns in diesem Jahr vor neue Herausforderungen. Unter Berücksichtigung der Vorlagen des BAG wird ein Schutzkonzept für die Athleten, die Helfer und das Publikum erarbeitet, an welches wir uns während des Wettkampfes strikte halten werden. Damit der Internationale Basler Cup zum Highlight dieses Jahres wird, benötigen wir eure Hilfe.

Ob ihr als Helfer schon ein Profi seid oder noch ein «Neuling» und dabei die grosse Wettkampfluft schnuppern möchtet. Wir freuen uns über jeden Helfer.

Dort könnt ihr euch als Helfer eintragen. Teilt uns mit, wenn ihr einen Wunsch für euren Einsatzort habt. Nach Möglichkeit werden wir eure Wünsche berücksichtigt. Die definitive Einteilung wird jedoch erst zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt bekannt gegeben. 

Wir möchten uns bereits im Voraus für eure wertvolle Mithilfe bedanken und freuen uns mich, mit Euch diesen Wettkampf durchführen zu dürfen.

Dear parents, relatives and swim companions 

It is with great pleasure to announce that our local swim competitions are allowed to recommence this year. 

The International Basel Cup (IBC) will now take place from 21-23 August 2020 in the garden pool arena at St Jakob. 

The IBC will be the first championship race in the Summer Season of 2020 to take place after the official COVID 19 Lockdown. We expect a large number of participants from Switzerland and abroad.   

As a result, the confederation has imposed new challenges for us. Along with the provisions mandated from the Health Department at BAG, a hygiene regime for the prevention of COVID 19 will be introduced for our athletes, helpers and the public as a whole, in which a strict compliance during the competition will be enforced. 

In order to make IBC a great success, your assistance is greatly needed.    

Whether you are a Veteran or a New-be, we look forward to every helping hand we can get.

Please let us know if you have a preference in your assignment. Depending on the possibilities, we will take this input into consideration. The definitive assignment will follow at a later stage.
